Our Commitment

Inclusion is core to everything Arcade Everywhere does. We design our experiences so that every participant — regardless of age, ability, mobility, or sensory needs — has a meaningful way to participate. No one sits on the sideline. This is not an accommodation we add on top of our experiences; it is built into how every game is designed and every event is facilitated.

Physical Accessibility at Events

All game stations maintain minimum 36-inch accessible pathways
No equipment blocks ramps, curb cuts, or accessible routes
Seated and wheelchair participation modes are available for all stations
Alternative roles (coordinator, strategist, timer, score-keeper) allow full, meaningful participation without physical equipment manipulation
Equipment height and reach ranges accommodate a wide range of physical profiles
No activity requires standing, running, or specific physical fitness to participate

Neurodiversity and Sensory Accommodations

Instructions delivered in short sequential chunks with visual demonstration — never long verbal blocks
No sudden loud noises, strobe elements, or sensory surprises in any activity
Audio intensity is modulated — facilitation does not involve screaming or aggressive hype
Game structure is consistent and predictable — no mid-event rule changes
No elimination mechanics — every participant stays engaged from first game to last
No humiliation mechanics — no public comparison, no spotlight failures
Opt-in participation — stepping back from a station carries no penalty or public comment
Role-based participation in every game so all participants can contribute in ways that work for them

🔵 AE does not ask for diagnoses or medical information. We do not use clinical or therapy language. Most accommodations are invisible — they are simply part of how we run every event.

Website Accessibility

We are committed to making arcadeeverywhere.com accessible to people with disabilities and aim to conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. Our ongoing efforts include:

Semantic HTML structure with appropriate heading hierarchy
Alt text on all meaningful images
Sufficient color contrast ratios across all text and UI elements
Keyboard navigation support throughout the site
ARIA labels on interactive elements
Respects “prefers reduced motion” settings — all scroll animations are disabled for users who prefer it

Special Accommodations Request

If you have specific accessibility needs you would like us to know about before your event, please mention them during your booking inquiry or pre-event planning call. We will integrate them into our facilitation approach quietly and without creating a visible accommodation that singles anyone out.

For large events, institutional bookings, or corporate events where formal ADA documentation is required, we can provide written accommodation protocols on request.
